Excelsa Apartment is a development which was built 18 years ago by Sin Hiap Lee (SHL), a property firm which was established in the year 1940's and ventured into property development in 1960's. To date this developer had developed numerous projects in the township of Alam Budiman, Bandar Sungai Long, Taman Putra Indah and Taman Universiti Indah. This developer had also developed The Taipan, an integrated office suites and serviced apartment within the area of Golden Triangle Kuala Lumpur. Currently, Excelsa Apartment has a subsale price of approximately RM290,000 and monthly rental starts from RM1,200.Excelsa Apartment is not a suitable place for investment as it is endangered of landslide. There were complains about cracks on the homes since the year 2000 and this matter was only taken seriously in the year 2008 when plastering works were done by the council. Taman University Indah is famous for its landslips and this makes it even more riskier.
