Last year, there were issues of Taman Velox and Bandar Country Homes being dumping grounds for construction wastes. Pusat Bandar Country Homes MIC chairman, Madhu Marimuthu commented that industrial area has became a dumping site for about 8 months and has also urged the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) to take action on the parties responsible for this act.Residents at Taman Velox and other townships nearby have also complained about criminal acts near a co-ed secondary school. Residents near the school are afraid of the Kuala Garing triad activities surrounding the areas of the school. However, these criminal cases do not involve any school students.
