Taman Sri Rawang is located relatively near to many amenities which also appear to be one of its selling points. However, there were concerns of flash floods as Taman Sri Rawang is located quite near to the river. But rest assured that this issue has been tackled several years back when RM15 million budget has been allocated to upgrade the drainage system which is Rawang’s first major upgrading of the drainage system in Kuala Garing which has benefited several townships and Taman Sri Rawang included.Another issue that has made headlines would be the illegal activities such as drinking, bullying and gang activities that have been rampant in SMK Seri Garing and also in the nearby residential areas. This issue has since died down with the co-operation of parents, students and also the police force to help achieve a more peaceful environment for all parties in the Kuala Garing area.
