Taman Setia Jaya is located at a more quiet area and provides a more serene environment as the development project is not surrounded by concrete jungle but by the mountain hills. The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) has replaced some streetlights and resurfaced the roads after receiving complains from owners at the Light Industry Area in Rawang stating that their streetlights are dim and the roads are in bad condition because of the industrial activities. The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) has took action and also identified that townships such as Taman Setia Jaya, Taman Rawang Perdana, Taman Sri Hijau and also Taman Bukit Rawang Jaya also need similar work to improve the lives of the residents. There have also been many reported break-ins in that area of Rawang which has forced owners to close their factories as early as 5pm in fear of their foreign workers' lives being threatened. However, just last year, there has been a report that the road leading to Taman Setia Jaya has been dug up by TNB contractors but was not properly resurfaced and that some accidents have also occurred in that area. This poses a risk to motorcyclists and also other vehicle users as the road is now sinking after being dug up.
