Homeowners of Taman Kanching Jaya can finally breathe a sigh of relief after finally receiving their Certificates of Fitness (CF) in March 5th, 2011 from the local council after waiting for 2 decades. The Selayang Municipal Council has initially refused to issue the CFs for this development as the developer did not build a playground within the housing estate as stated in the original development plan.Homeowners were relieved that this issue has finally been solved after so long and despite the CFs not issued earlier on, many residents have also moved in but were concern with the fact that they would have encounter problems claiming insurance if anything were to happen to their homes. The Selayang MP William Leong has also taken note regarding the potholes issues, faulty streetlights and other issues raised by the residents of Taman Kanching Jaya and the residential developments nearby. Hopefully, the issues will be resolved soon.
