Analysis

Crime has been an issue in Rawang since a few years back. In year 2010, residents in the Rawang area has formed a security council to tackle crimes in that area and this was launched by Selayang MP William Leong. This is to encourage the residents to cooperate and work closely with the police in order to fight crime efficiently. There has also been an issue on a proper police station in Taman Desa Mas as the current police station is the former developer's showroom and can only fit 7 to 10 personnel. Apart from that, some people commented that there are many Indonesians with different dialects staying there and some thinks that it might be dangerous. There were also comments on unapproachable and unfriendly neighborhood. Taman Desa Mas is ideal for those who loves a slow pace life or wants to get out of the hustles and bustles of the city life.
