Taman Bunga Raya is a leasehold housing development located in Bukit Beruntung, on the outskirts of Selangor. It is considerably far from the general population at approximately 25 minutes away from the town centre of Rawang while Kuala Lumpur is at least 40 minutes away. The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is almost 100 kilometres away, which will take more than an hour to get there.Taman Bunga Raya comprises mostly of low cost walk up apartments. These walk up apartments stand between 3 and 5 storeys tall, with a general built-up of between 650 sf and 850 sf housing 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Prices of these homes are extremely affordable with the units on sale being as low as RM40,000 while the units for auction come as low as RM20,000.Most of the homes in Taman Bunga Raya are being sold partially furnished, with a good many being bare units as the owners never moved in. The partially furnished units usually already come with built-in kitchen cabinets, light and fan fixings as well as sanitary ware. The units are also usually furnished with ceiling fans already.As low cost developments, the apartments in Taman Bunga Raya do not usually come with facilities. The parking lots provided are usually open air parking lots, while some also boast landscaped areas where there are greenery. Some of the apartments also come with playgrounds for the little tykes.Amenities are sadly lacking in the area of Taman Bunga Raya. There are a couple of schools in the area that cater specifically to the children in the area, while choices of better schools are as far as a half an hour drive away. The sole shopping centre that serves these residents is Tesco which is 10 minutes away while banking facilities are also available with the closest one being the Maybank located within Tesco.Although located just beside the Bukit Beruntung Golf & Country Club, Taman Bunga Raya is very sadly lacking in facilities. The closest medical healthcare centre is the very much recently opened 1Malaysia Clinic that is 10 minutes away, while the closest hospital is located half an hour away in Sungai Buloh.Taman Bunga Raya is connected to the rest of the housing developments via inside roads, while it is connected to the city only through the North - South Highway. There is no public transportation available within these developments at all, while the closest major bus and taxi stands are more than half an hour away in Batang Kali.

One of the biggest advantage to living in Taman Bunga Raya, Bukit Beruntung is the complete lack of traffic congestion. This is probably due to the fact that there is minimal population in the area, with considerably more houses for auction than there are for sale. Contributing to the lack of congestion is also the fact that favourite way of travelling around in this area is by bicycle. The residents who live in Taman Bunga Raya consists mostly of the elderly population who have lived their whole lives here working their own businesses, or the estate workers who work in the many rubber estates, palm oil plantations and various fruit plantations in the area.Taman Bunga Raya is clearly a failed development where not many people want to live in due to its distance to all necessities and amenities. Getting in and out of the area is complicated and there is no point living here unless one works in the area. It is certainly not a very good place to bring children up either, as quality of education here will not be as good as can be gotten from a better township such as Rawang that is only half an hour away.
