    Analysis

    There are nine sections of housing estates in Bandar Kinrara (BK1, BK2, BK3, BK4, BK5, BK6, BK7, BK8 and BK9). Double-storey houses built in BK3 and BK4, BK5 have a better housing society. The latest section of housing estates are BK6 and BK7, where they comprise mostly of bungalows, semi-Ds and terrace houses. BK1, BK2, BK3 and BK4 are quite low cost while BK5, BK6, BK7, BK8 and BK9 are better developments. Permai, Harmony, Melody and a few others are new developments.In 2008, the Giant shopping complex was opened in the area. The complex gives more convenience to the residents in the area. There also a mosque, a Petronas and rows of shops in almost all of the developments. An international cricket ground has been completed. A youth center is also in the pipeline consisting of covered futsal arenas and badminton courts. There is a natural buffer zone in a form of a forest reserve to the south called Ayer Hitam Forest Reserved which has been lately re-gazetted by the current state government as permanent reserved. The new Police District Headquarters are completed nearby the Kinrara Golf Club.
