SS7 is an upmarket residential and recreational hub area of Kelana Jaya. This precinct comprises a mix of residential, commercial and recreational developments where some are freehold and the rest are leasehold. Right in the middle of SS7, there is a public recreational hub which consists of Kelana Jaya Park, a lake, MBPJ Stadium, MBPJ Swimming Pool Complex and Kelana Jaya Sports Centre. Right next to it is Kelana Jaya Lake. PKNS Sports Complex is also located in this precinct. There are two mosques to facilitate the residents of SS7, namely Nurul Yaqin Mosque and Tengku Kelana Jaya Putra. There are numerous shopping centres within close proximity, including Giant Mall, Sunway Pyramid, 1 Utama, Tropicana City and Subang Parade.     There are several types of residential in SS7 - bungalow, 2-storey terrace, apartment and condominium. Luxurious bungalows are located along Jalan SS 7/2, next to Subang National Golf Club (KGNS). These exclusives bungalows are priced from RM2 million onwards. Semi-detached homes are priced around RM 1 million. As for link houses, they are located next to Sungei Way Free Trade Zone and also in between condominiums. These houses are priced from RM 430,000 onwards. Meanwhile, there are old and new condominiums in the area. The old ones are Kelana Puteri, Kelana D'Putera, Shang Villa and Tiara Kelana; while the new ones are Kelana Mahkota and Sterling. These old condominiums are priced around RM200 psf, while the new ones are priced around RM250 psf. All these condominiums are leasehold except Shang Villa, which just received freehold status several months ago. Commercial properties in the area are Glomac Boulevard, Kelana Centre Point, FAS Business Avenue, Kelana Business Centre and Plaza Kelana Jaya.
