There were complaints on the hawker stalls that are operating along the commercial areas in Bandar Sri Damansara and this has also been reported in the news. Bandar Sri Damansara Residents Association president, Ravindran Raman commented that it was not wrong for the hawkers to conduct their business but they were doing it at the wrong place. He later stated that there were 22 hawkers operating along Persiaran Meranti alone which is one of the main routes to get to Sri Meranti. The residents claimed that the hawkers dump their rubbish behind the shop lots area and it is not fair to the business operators there. Bandar Sri Damansara’s crime rate has gone down ever since residents worked closely with the police officers to combat crimes around the area. Sri Meranti is one of the cheapest residential one can find in Bandar Sri Damansara. The apartment is suitable for ones who are tight in budget and need to commute to Petaling Jaya and Damansara for work. It is also a good place to call home as it is sited on high elevated land and well surrounded by the lush greenery of Bandar Sri Damansara.
