Amcorp Tower is part of the flagship project of the Amcorp Group, whereby the other parts of the flagship project include Amcorp Mall and the Amcorp Serviced Suites. The development was not really viewed as a success in the past when it was painted blue in colour, but has since its refurbishment and change of colour to orangish yellow been a little bit more successful.The management has done much to bump up the number of visitors, however the majority of the shoppers in this mall are still the students of the surrounding schools, as well as residents who need a quick bite or office workers from the surrounding area. The mall does actually have some interesting stuff, such as the flea market during the weekends, and the well placed colourful fairy lights that come on after dark.Amcorp Tower is viewed by many to be a good investment despite its leasehold title, as it is one of the most centrally located office developments in Petaling Jaya which has direct access to the Federal Highway and is within a short walk of the Taman Jaya LRT Station.
