According to residents around the Klang area, townships such as Taman Klang Jaya, Taman Sentosa and Pandaraman are known to be notorious with gangsterism and also all sorts of petty crimes. There were also gang fights that happened which was commented by some local residents of Taman Sentosa. There were also cases of gangsterism in certain schools in Klang a few years back. A Selangor Exco member's house located within Taman Klang Jaya was also broke into and he lost RM70,000 of cash and valuables to the burglars. He commented that it was the first time that his house was broken into for the 21 years that he has been staying there.
