Saujana 1080 Residences located at Puncak Saujana, Kajang is a freehold development that is targeted at future retirees and people who want to live with all 3 generations in one house. The developer for this project is YBK Group, and the development is expected to complete sometime in January of 2017.There are a total of 70 units in Saujana 1080 Residences. Four layouts are being offered by the developer to cater to differing budgets. Units come with at least 5 + 1 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. There are only 6 bungalow units whereas the rest are semi-detached houses with differing built-ups. Prices range from RM1,379,400 to RM2,768,000 at launch.The units at Saujana 1080 Residence feature two master bedrooms in the house, and a special "elder room" designed for the convenience of the elderly. All units come with en suite bathrooms. Three of the mentioned rooms also include a hot water storage complete with water pump. It is a low-density development with only 70 units available in the whole project, and this is really ideal for a retirement home.At Saujana 1080 Residences, the entrance is equipped with CCTV surveillance. The entire residential area is gated and guarded by 24-hour security. The development can only be accessed using an access card, also known as radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. Facilities are extensive, to go with the "retirement" theme; therefore there is a clubhouse within the gated area which would have a swimming pool, a barbecue area, a sauna room, a gymnasium. Surrounding the clubhouse would be a children's playground, a lounge complete with a garden path.Saujana 1080 Residences is located quite some ways from the city. The nearest township is Prima Saujana where basic amenities could be accessed; it is roughly two kilometers away. The nearest shopping complex is Plaza Metro Kajang which is roughly five kilometers away. The nearest police station is Balakong Police Station which is some 10 kilometers away. The nearest hospital is Hospital Kajang, which is some 4 kilometers away; it is not really ideal as it is some distance away. The nearest school is Sekolah Kebangsaan Kantan Permai, less than 1 kilometer away. There are 5 schools within a 4 kilometer radius. The nearest banks are located in Kajang town itself, therefore the location is not really convenient.In terms of accessibility, there is no public transport infrastructure to speak of nearby Saujana 1080 Residence. The nearest KTM station is located in Kajang town. There is only one highway located right beside the development, and that is Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway (SILK). It is really convenient to exit from SILK into the development but there is no way to get onto SILK from the area. One would have to take the Cheras-Kajang highway to get into Kuala Lumpur. One saving grace for the development is that there is a proposed MRT station right in front of the development.

    YBK Group was founded in 1996, which started off as a mid-sized contractor. They have specialized in property development since consolidation into YBK group, and focus mainly on medium-high end residential and commercial developments. The company is relatively new as a group, and their only completed project is Metro @ Genting Klang located in Setapak, which has since then been sold out.Realistically speaking, Saujana 1080 Residence is located at the outskirts of a residential area. It makes sense only if marketed as a retirement home, where tranquility above all is valued by the purchasers. Even then, it is some ways from a hospital as the elderly would in certain situations require constant access to it. But the design for the units are rather well thought out; if you can get past its location then this is great for retirement. With all that said, its location could be a deal breaker for many.
