    De Centrum was developed by De Centrum Development, a wholly owned subsidiary of Protasco Development, a firm which has ventured into construction, maintenance, ikram services, education, trading and manufacturing, as well as property development and management. This developer is also developing De Centrum City @ South KL, which consist of convention centre and residential tower. For De Centrum, the developer offers free legal fees for Sales and Purchase Agreement, DIBS, 5% discount upon SPA, 1 free air-conditioner and 1 free car park as the early bird promotions.In terms of price, De Centrum is kinda overpriced as buyers should also consider the built-up of the unit, whereby the 447 sf unit would cost around RM170,000 or more. Pearl Avenue is another property development in the vicinity of Kajang which was priced even cheaper when it was launched and was criticised for being overpriced. De Centrum received the same criticism. Yet people are still rushing to buy it regardless of the built-up as properties in other towns are not affordable anymore.
