SL4 is one of the many well organised housing developments located in Bandar Sungai Long in the major city of Cheras. It directly neighbours the high rise Greenview Residence, while the other housing areas around it are SL2 and Admiral Park. It is an estimated half an hour drive to the city centre of Kuala Lumpur while the Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA is only 50 minutes away by car. These beautiful homes have an added value with their freehold title.The SL4 housing development was clearly targeted toward the upper market, as all the homes are either double storey terrace houses or double storey semi-detached homes. As such, highways such as the Silk Highway, LEKAS Expressway, North - South Expressway and the Cheras - Kajang Highway are very easily accessible. The closest train station is the Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station which is a 20-minute drive away.

    The SL4 housing development is a very well planned housing area on the outskirts of the city where many people flock to to find affordable houses. As such the community has swelled by a lot in the recent years, resulting in a deterioration of traffic conditions especially along the Jalan Utama Sungai Long. The situation has worsened to the point that the resident's association complaints have reached the papers.Other than that, many of the older folk who dislike travelling find it rather peaceful staying in SL4, as the neighbourhood community is skewed towards the upper middle and upper income group. This sense of exclusivity is further enforced with the high level of security, and its location beside the local golf club.Houses in SL4 are certainly worth buying if one lives and work within the area, otherwise the price tag is hefty especially if the buyer will need to travel to the city centre on a daily basis, as it is possible to get a home closer to the city with that kind of price. Other than that, it appears that houses here are worth investing in for the people who live on the city limits, as can be seen by the numerous developments mushrooming up in the past few years.
