The launch of The Place has received a huge response by the buyers despite of its hefty RM450 psf price tag. The studio and 500 sf units are quickly snatched by buyers within 2 weeks. The main factors that contributed to this BBB (Buy, Buy and Buy) phenomenon are its walking distance to Limkokwing University, modern-looking architecture, as well as DIBS which the buyers only have to pay RM5,000 and the developer will absorb the remaining payments to the bank till it is handed over. The Place does not come with free parking as everyone has to park at their own expense. It is good as the apartment is targeted for rich students next door which are mostly drive their own car to class – hence, need about 2 or 3 car park lots for each unit. In addition, The Place does not allow free usage of the swimming pool as it charges some fees for the usage towards the residents. This is translated to its cheap maintenance fee of just RM0.15 psf which covers the cleaning, maintenance and security.
