Taman Selasih is a very well connect albeit a very high density neighbourhood. As such, traffic is generally smooth flowing throughout the day, but congests during peak hours. Residents who utilise the main road Jalan Batu Caves and the DUKE Highway to get home will find themselves stuck in traffic for an uncomfortably long time.Taman Selasih is a very busy neighbourhood with many houses in the area, surrounded by several low cost flats in the surrounding housing developments. In spite of the heavy traffic of many faces travelling to and fro throughout the day, crime rate here is unexpectedly low, and residents find themselves very safe in their chosen home.Taman Selasih used to once be a very unremarkable neighbourhood. This is however changing as property close to the city starts to gain more attention. As such, properties here have seen a healthy capital appreciation in the property market over the years despite its leasehold status. Not only is it beginning to show signs of being a possible investment, it is also a convenient location for those who work in the city centre.Taman Selasih comes in two phases. They are separated by the DUKE Highway. In early 2014, Pusat Perdagangan Taman Selasih began its operation in Taman Selasih Phase 1.
