Laksamana is a serene residential neighborhood with aplenty of amenities surrounding the area. One can easily drive to a few schools, commercial areas, petrol stations and worship centers such as Sivananda Ashram and the renowned Batu Caves Hindu Temple within just a few minutes from Laksamana. The houses within Laksamana boast nice views of the Batu Caves greenery, which is one of the few remaining green pockets of the city. However, you may found that the access roads towards Laksamana are very congested during peak hours. This is because Jalan Batu Caves and Jalan Sungai Tua are narrow and traffic is very heavy on these two roads.
