With the uprising prices of terrace units nowadays, Taman Setia 2 is amongst some of the rare terrace housing areas that are still affordable for many. And yet, it has a huge potential to appreciate further following the many new developments will be launched in the area as there are many vacant plots of land nearby. Among the upcoming ones include D'Impian Tropika and a land owned by Dijaya which is likely to be developed into a terrace housing area. However, the appreciation might be limited due to its surrounding low-cost residences such as Apartment Flora, TSB Apartment and Taman Impian Ehsan Flat 2. Potential buyers might also opt for Taman Impian Ehsan terrace units which are relatively cheaper than Taman Setia 2 units but older. Some residents claim that the area is full of foreign workers who loiter around the neighborhood as the Balakong Jaya Industrial Park is located just next to the residential area.
