Looking great while being spacious, Sri Ampang Mas does look like a proper place to live in. However, although the surrounding commercial lots and mall make amenities easy to get to, it also means that the place is a hang out spot for many people too. Unfortunately, the undeniably flamboyant Dagang Avenue food court and its neighbouring restaurants are usually a hub for the 'mat rempit'. The mall is also frequently visited by these people and it does not contribute to a posh neighbourhood atmosphere. Other neighbouring properties are a medium-level condominium, a police station, high-populated medium and low cost apartments, and rows of terrace house. All these do not necessarily aid to a neighbourhood of the highest standard. The traffic congestion is another issue that can be raised in considerations of buying a unit at Sri Ampang Mas. Jalan Cempaka and Jalan Ampang are always busy, especially at peak hours. Even the alternatives such as AKLEH and MMR2 would still be busy. However, Sri Ampang Mas still feature one of the best locations in the town. Amenities would not be a problem. As the built-up is large, big families can stay here for days.
