Traffic congestion is however a daily issue as residents battle against the constant and unyielding traffic throughout the residential area, on Jalan Taman Putra and all the way to the expressways.Unlike its counterparts closer to the city centre, Kampung Tasik Tambahan does not command as high of a price as its location is comparatively far from the city as compared to those that sit on the embassy row and such. Its residents also consist mostly of the working class of locals who work in the city.Kampung Tasik Tambahan as such makes a good home to those who work in the city, as despite the terrible traffic conditions, workers will need to drive a shorter distance. Kampung Tasik Tambahan lacks the appeal of an investment as besides sitting on leasehold land, it is also considered to be one of the further residential areas from the city centre.
