Analysis

Some residents who have stayed at Ampang Damai claimed that the residential development was one of Talam Group’s worst housing projects. Here are some reasons as to why those previous tenants or owners dislike staying here. There have been complaints regarding the cleanliness of the water of the swimming pool. Some residents even mentioned that it looks like lychee drink. Besides swimming pool, the other facilities are not well maintained as well. There are also issues with the African Americans who live there. Some residents commented that there are a lot African American residents staying there who got drunk and make loud noises at night. The lift service is also unreliable, as said by some residents who have stayed there before.Apart from that, Bandar Baru Ampang has made headlines for being one of the hot spots for crimes like robbery, break-ins and more. This has forced residents to set up their own guard house around the area but was told that it is illegal to set up their own guard houses as the residents have no right to set up road blocks and stop motorists as only the police have the right.
