The location of the development is excellent, and the developers have an excellent track record with land development in Sibu. The Hock Peng Organisation also dwells in hotel management as well as property development. However, the view promised could be marred by the fact that the Rajang River is very yellowish.In July 2013, Pulau Li Hua made headlines all over the country when a debt-ridden contractor staying there tried to kill all his family members before attempting to commit suicide himself. It is also interesting to note that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah used one of the mansions on Pulau Li Hua as a temporary residence in the year 2001. The residence has since then been abandoned.
