Kampung Sungai Dendang is suitable for those who like to live a slow pace life away from the stresses of the bustling city life. Kampung Sungai Dendang is not as developed even as rural as the small town of Kubu Gajah. Normal agriculture lands are generally suitable for any type of plantation from fruits to palm trees. The price tag for the piece of land for plantation purpose is also sounds still economical even though it is a bit on the high side. Some Kampung Sungai Dendang is suitable for Arowana breeding as the water running along Dendang River is from the nearby mountains. There are already a few successful Arowana breeding farms along the river. However, recently there was news of Sungai Dendang being polluted due to the oil waste from a factory sited near to Sungai Dendang. Quite a big number of Arowana breeding farms were affected due to the pollution and the stench from the river has been really foul due to the dead fishes that were accumulating on the banks of the river. The river pollution has also been an issue raised by the villagers who reside along the river.
