It is a freehold project in the much sought after location of Bukit Mertajam, located approximately 25 minutes away from the state capital Georgetown, connected via the Penang Bridge which is approximately 20 minutes away from the housing development while the Penang International Airport is about half an hour away.Most of the houses in Taman Sungai Rambai consist mainly of single storey terrace houses, that are suitable for medium sized families with 3 to 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Built-ups of these homes range between 1,000 sf and 3,800 sf. The prices vary just as widely, at between RM135,000 and RM430,000.As Taman Sungai Rambai consists of a relatively old neighbourhood, buyers can expect their new home to already be partially furnished with in-built kitchen cabinets and various other in-built furnitures such as the bedroom wardrobes while air-conditioners are also quite common. Most of the homes are have also had renovations done on them to fully extend the kitchens.Being an older development, Taman Sungai Rambai was not built with facilities in the planning, and as such it is a very quiet neighbourhood with naught for entertainment. Banks are also plenty available within a 1 kilometre drive.Taman Sungai Rambai is located just off Jalan Sungai Rambai which connects to the main road of Jalan Bukit Tengah, which in turn provides easy access to the North - South Highway. Public transportation also proves to be rather convenient, as there is a bus stop just 2 minutes away from home, and the Bukit Mertajam KTM station a mere 3 kilometres away.

Taman Sungai Rambai is fairly well located on the mainland of Penang at only 20 minutes away from the Penang Bridge. The traffic condition can however be a serious pain during peak hours, where Jalan Sungai Rambai starts congesting from 5.30 pm onwards all the way to the Penang Bridge.The neighbourhood is pretty old, but peaceful and quiet as it is purely a residential area. As one of the older developments, it houses many matured families. Buyers can expect a healthy mix of blue collared workers as well as white collared workers from this neighbourhood.Although land is continuing to increase in scarcity in Penang, Taman Sungai Rambai still doesn't seem to be much of a good location due to its location being on the mainland rather than the island itself. It is however a good place and quiet place to bring up families, as the neighbourhood is nice and peaceful.
