There are some concerns on whether BM City Mall will be able to live up and survive in its area as many commercial developments surrounding Bandar Perda are not doing very well. Located nearby Penang's attractions, Bukit Mertajam might be a great location for residential, but as far as industrial goes, not many people actually go there to shop.Nonetheless, there is a future Parkson opening soon just mere kilometers away from BM City Mall. With that new store and the development of this remarkably designed BM City, there is hope to attract more public to the the area, thus, increasing the price of units in BM City Mall and maybe the commercial properties surround Bandar Perda.
