Taman Lebah Hijau (also known as Taman Lembah Hijau) is a medium cost freehold apartment located in Green Lane, a prime location which is a factor in the price hike of the apartment. It is located a mere 10 minutes away from the city centre of Georgetown and Gurney Drive, 8 minutes away from Air Itam and 12 minutes away from Bayan Lepas where the Penang International Airport is located. Taman Lebah Hijau is one of the older developments in Green Lane, located just by the forests of Penang. It towers 12 and 15 storeys tall in the mountains in two different blocks. The average built up for these apartments are approximately 750 sf with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Prices here are considerably steep in relation to the type of apartment being offered, with the lowest price being RM350,000 and the highest being RM430,000. As one of the older developments, most of the units being released for sale at Taman Lebah Hijau are partially furnished with the previous owner's furnitures and fixtures. Common attributes found would be built-in kitchen cabinets, built in wardrobes, light and fan fixtures, air-conditioners and water heaters. Many of the units have also been fully renovated.Taman Lebah Hijau does not offer much in facilities. The residents have only a covered parking lot to each unit, although some units are being sold with an additional parking lot at a much higher price. Other facilities include a food court that serves the residents, as well as the 24-hour security that ensures the safety of residents.Taman Lebah Hijau is well located; it is a mere 13 minutes drive to Queensbay Mall, Prangin Mall and 1st Avenue, while Prangin Mall houses the hypermarket Giant. Schools of various language mediums of teaching are also widely available within a 4 kilometres radius, and the Penang Adventist Hospital is only 10 minutes away. The daily Air Itam Wet Market is only 10 minutes away as well, while eateries, restaurants and convenience shops are widely available.Taman Lebah Hijau is located just off Jalan Masjid Negeri, which gives it good connectivity to the main highway, the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Highway, as well as major trunk roads such as Jalan Bukit Gambier, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Jalan Masjid Negeri. Public transportation is equally convenient as Rapid Penang busses number 11, 206 and 304 passes through Green Lane.

Taman Lebah Hijau is undoubtedly located in a prime and highly sought after location. Unfortunately, residential development has as such been heavy especially in the recent years, which has resulted in severe traffic congestion daily especially during peak hours. Traffic is especially bad towards Jalan Tembaga and Jalan Besi, where the roads converge.Other than that, Taman Lebah Hijau is located in a rather peaceful neighbourhood, where the residents whose units face the forest benefit most from nature. Surrounding the apartment are similar high rises of the like, such as Greenlane Heights, Kingfisher Series and Flamingo Series, all of which are medium to high end developments. Taman Lebah Hijau is an especially good investment, especially for those who bought it many years ago. The price showed a definite hike in 2013, which has since slowed down in 2014; but is still a definite increment from the RM226,000 in 2011. Its price is expected to steadily increase as land in Penang becomes more limited, and people seek homes closer to the city. It is definitely a good permanent home as well, as it is close to all the amenities but is still set slightly apart from the busy city.
