Mutiara Place is approximately 8 km from Magazine Circus, and therefore is a suitable location to live in no matter you are working in the city or the south side, as it is strategically situated somewhere half way between the two. In terms of public transport for Mutiara Place's residents, Rapid Penang Bus No. 206 is available. However, it takes a while to walk from Mutiara Place to the nearest bus stop along Jalan Yeap Chor Ee. It takes several minutes to ride to Paya Terubong Rapid Penang Bus Hub and Air Itam Rapid Penang Bus Hub. Therefore, it is not very convenient if you depend on public transport. The traffic along Jalan Bukit Gambir is usually heavy but not congested. However, it does get a little congested at the traffic lights of Jalan Delima, which is a rather busy road.
