Indeed, the design of the entire development of Southbay City is very modern and contemporary. It is hard to imagine that this kind of developments will be here in our country. But with Mah Sing's name and reputation, one shall believe that this is going to be real. The developer is also currently busy with other futuristic developments such as Icon Residence, M City, and Icon City. However, the surrounding area of Southbay City is an issue, as the locals claimed that the area is very near to factory zone, highway and bridge. Hence, it may be polluted by noise, dust and dirty air – making life not that comfortable and luxurious as the ones in Darling Harbor in Sydney or the Canary Wharf in London, that the developer is trying to copy.
