Taman Muhibbah is one of the older housing developments in Port Dickson, in the state of Negeri Sembilan which its immediate neighbour is Seremban. Located a mere hour away from Kuala Lumpur, the houses here sit upon freehold land which adds to their value.The housing area of Taman Muhibbah is rather small in comparison to the newer developments nowadays. The properties here consist mainly of single storey terrace houses, and homes in this housing area are highly limited and hard to get as most of them are handed down from parent to child. The cheapest of these homes are the ones that are being auctioned off at starting prices of RM75,000, and to date reports of houses for sale in this area is non-existent.The very few houses from Taman Muhibbah that makes it to the market are generally unfurnished, which results in the houses being sold at very low prices. The most that the houses have to offer to its new occupants are mostly ready fan and light fixtures, built in kitchen cabinets and washroom fixtures.Being a housing development from the past, Taman Muhibbah does not have any form of security much less 24 hour security guards or security cameras within a gated and guarded compound. As a matter of fact, there is not even a playground within the housing development for the children to muck around in.The closest source of entertainment for the folks who live in Taman Muhibbah will be the famous white beaches of Port Dickson which is a mere few minutes away from their doorsteps. National schools for children of all ages are easily available, while the closest hospital nearby is the Port Dickson Hosital which is approximately 20 minutes away by car.Taman Muhibbah is well connected to the town of Port Dickson via the main road which they sit on, Jalan Bakar Sampah. This main road can either bring residents to the beachside via Jalan Pantai, otherwise it also connects to the North - South Expressway which will enable the motorist to get to Kuala Lumpur in under an hour. Local public transportation is scarce, therefore owning your own vehicle is important in order to live here.

Taman Muhibbah is an old and well located housing development. Besides being located close to the beach, it is also located close to several of the most prestigious hotels in Port Dickson. Although it is a local vacation spot, traffic congestion is generally non-existent even during peak seasons, which is fortunate for the residents.Although it is neither gated nor guarded, Taman Muhibbah has its own sense of charm as it is a rather small neighbourhood where most of the neighbours know each other. This is an especially good thing in times of crisis such as the drastic flash flood period that happened in 2013 during the monsoon season that filled up the houses to the brim of the rooftops.As an investment, Taman Muhibbah is not a good choice as there are many newer, better and more well designed homes in the area. It is not a good place to call home either, as Taman Muhibbah is one of the housing areas that is worse affected by flash floods during the monsoon season, and residents may expect to evacuate their homes at least once a year.
