One of the benefits of staying in Taman Desa Permai is the fact that residents need never worry about traffic congestion, as bad traffic in Port Dickson is equivalent to traffic in the city during holidays; which is almost non-existent, even during peak periods. As such, this place could be called a true holiday retreat.The neighbourhood of Taman Desa Permai is exclusive, not in the ridiculously famed sense but in the sense that it is reclusive and excellent as a getaway from the busy city life. Many retirees find themselves making their way to this town in search of a retirement home, as it is far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet still relatively near at only approximately 45 minutes to Kuala Lumpur.Taman Desa Permai may not be a good area to invest in due to their laid back lifestyle and relative lack of development, and it may also not be the best place to stay in for a young family as business and work opportunities and the education system cannot be compared to the big city's. However, Taman Desa Permai is an excellent choice as a holiday home or a retirement home.
