Taman PD Jaya is a relatively small neighbourhood development in the district of Port Dickson, within the state of Negeri Sembilan. It is surrounded by a number of older housing developments, along the main road of Jalan Seremban. As one of the older developments, details of the developer and its completion date are non-existent. Houses here are less valued, as they sit on leasehold land.Houses in Taman PD Jaya consists mainly of both single storey and double storey terrace houses. While many of the houses are very well maintained, there are nevertheless still a handful of houses that are long overdue for a paint job. Banking facilities are only a few minutes ride away from home, as are a number of convenience shops, fast food eateries, restaurants and even a Giant hypermarket. Parents will be pleased to know that primary and secondary schools are available for school going children, ensuring a complete and healthy education. Taman PD Jaya is well connected to the main roads of Port Dickson, as it sits directly beside the main road of Jalan Seremban; which provides residents a direct route to the popular Jalan Pantai beach side area, and also to the North - South Expressway. Public transportation is unreliable at best in Port Dickson, therefore owning your own form of transport will be important in getting around town.

As one of the older developments in Port Dickson, Taman PD Jaya does not have a record of its developers anymore. However, the houses that are in the market for either auction or sale come in various conditions, with the majority showing signs of holding up well over the years; a sign of a good development.Houses in Taman PD Jaya are also rarely on the market, as the majority of them appear to be family homes. It is no surprise that the original buyers would be reluctant to part with their homes as besides its excellent location within the district of Port Dickson, it is also in an area where motorists will not need to face any form of traffic congestion at all. The neighbourhood at Taman PD Jaya may not be fancy nor exclusive as some of the newer developments in the sea are, but it is still nevertheless a pleasant neighbourhood with a district that has very low crime rate with not much use of a gated and guarded community. Buying a house in Taman PD Jaya as an investment may not be one of the wisest ideas as the houses here are considerable aged, unless the buyer is looking to spruce up the home and turn it into a vacation rental home. However, as a permanent own home for those who work around the area, Taman PD Jaya will be a good and affordable place to call home.
