They can however start to expect traffic congestion during peak hours, when vehicles start piling up on the Ayer Keroh Highway.Taman Pelangi can be considered to be one of the quieter neighbourhoods in the area, as unlike their cousins they are not back-to-back against Jusco Melaka or other such crowd pullers. As such, they enjoy proximity with amenities but are not affected by the cons of them. The neighbourhood is considerably safe, as there have been no reported crimes in the area.There are some who consider Taman Pelangi to be a good investment due to its freehold title and its proximity to amenities. However, there are others who prefer to buy property closer to Melaka Sentral or the city centre in order to convert them to holiday homes.
