Taman Castlefield is a strategically located self-sustaining housing area in Kuala Lumpur that offers leasehold homes and freehold shop-offices. In terms of homes, Taman Castlefield has low-cost double-storey terrace houses as well as link houses. There are also office buildings and apartments for sale. It is located in a strategic location between two major highways, which are the Sungai Besi highway and the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban highway. However, it is mainly more accessible via the Sungai Besi highway.     In view of current findings, one would say that if you're looking for a low-cost property with the intention of renting it out at a low-cost rate, this is the place you should scout. However, it is important to note that Taman Castlefield is surrounded by low-cost properties. Endah Parade (Carrefour) Bukit Jalil, as well as Mid Valley Megamall, are within easy access from Taman Castlefield. One wouldn't think that most amenities are abundant ere, probably just basic ones enough for daily living such as grocery stores. If you are single, or a student studying in Bukit Jalil, one would say that this is definitely a good place with value for money. This is due to the fact that most colleges and universities around Bukit Jalil such as the International Medical University (IMU) and Technology Park Malaysia are located within below a 10-minute drive.By viewing the rentals of the condominiums around that area, Taman Castlefield is a much cheaper option (provided one is willing to spend a minimal fee as well as time for public transportation). In terms of pricing, a double-storey low-cost link house would cost RM182 per square feet (land area) while an apartment of 860 square feet is going for RM70,000. The apartment is gated and guarded. The retail offices here are however more strategically located, with good amenities such as car park lots and motorcycle bays. The price is RM680 per square feet and it is freehold.
