Taman Segambut Muda is a very well located neighbourhood with many access roads and easy connectivity to highways. Residents do however suffer terrible traffic congestion, especially during peak hours due to the high density of high rises and landed property in Mont Kiara and Sri Hartamas; both of which share similar access routes.Although they are located almost literally across the street of the high end residences of Mont Kiara, Taman Segambut Muda does not share the same fame as their elite neighbours. The reason behind this lies in the fact that Segambut is an area that has many low end homes as well as squatter areas, that are slowly being reclaimed by developers and the authorities.As land in Mont Kiara lessens, developers are looking to close by "empty" lands that can be further developed. As such, Taman Segambut Muda is in a good position to experience good price appreciation as more and more new high rises are being built on the edges of Segambut. Houses in Taman Segambut Muda are still affordable, and those looking for permanent residency in the city will want to grab a unit here before the prices soar anymore higher.
