Among the achievements are, being ranked among the top ten in The Edge Malaysia's Top Ten Property Developers Awards for five consecutive years (2003 - 2007); thrice winner of the FIABCI Malaysia Property Award in 2005, 2001 & 1997 for Best Residential Development; and was listed as one of Forbes Asia's Best Under US$1 billion turnover public listed companies in 2005. The developer is responsible for most of the developments in Mont Kiara enclave, such as Mont Kiara Bayu, Mont Kiara Astana, Mont Kiara Pelangi, and of course Laman Suria itself,. On going projects by the developer include 11 Mont Kiara and 10 Mont Kiara. Besides residential, the company also developed Solaris Dutamas and Solaris Mont Kiara, as well as Plaza Mont Kiara.Being another development by Sunrise, Laman Suria is well received in terms of its quality and maintenance delivered to the owners and residents. In fact, it received its strata title within 2 years after the development completed. Jalan Kiara 3 is one of congested roads in Mont Kiara, due to rows of residential and Garden International School residing along the road. This congestion problem is due to the school as well as motorists utilizing the road to connect to SPRINT highway from Jalan Segambut. There are too many competitions within the enclave of Mont Kiara for Laman Suria. Most possess modern facade and minimalist interior design which are more appealing. We can see that the price of Laman Suria is stagnant and about to drop since 2006 due to these massive new developments in the enclave as well as global economy downturn occurred. Comparing Laman Suria with other older condominiums in the enclave, Laman Suria wins in terms of location, being right beside the Sports Zone and Garden International School.
