Binjai 8 is a luxury high-rise serviced residence located along Lorong Binjai, within the sought-after KLCC enclave. It is amongst the latest developments in the enclave, by the reputable UOA Group. This state-of-art development, which is claimed as "City Home-Suites", comprises a 40-storey tower that houses a total of 310 units. There are several types of layouts available with built-up sizes from 753 sf onwards with 1 to 4 bedrooms. 33 out of 40 floors are allocated for serviced suites while another 2 floors are for recreational facilities and the remaining 7 floors are for parking bays.Binjai 8 was available since December 2009 (which is not its official launch date) at about RM1,000 psf. Early birds received a 10% discount with another additional 1% discount for UOA repeated buyers. About 60% was sold even before they announced the official launch date.Located right behind Nikko Hotel, there are aplenty prestigious and exclusive amenities surrounding Binjai 8.     Joining the latest development craze, Binjai 8 is also a SOHO development whereby it can be used as office as well as residential apartment, and also both. There are pros and cons regarding this matter, which the ones who want to use it as an office will benefit from its cheaper rate than other commercial rates. However, would you be okay if your client comes to your office and sees some of the residents walking around in their really casual clothes? Or perhaps, when your neighbors are having a loud get together? As for the residents, their privacy is jeopardized because of this matter. Furthermore, the utility charges will be under commercial rate, rather than residential.Not only that, its location is smack in the middle of Hotel Corinthian, Binjai Residency, The Troika, Nikko, and PNB Darby Park. With all these high floor neighbours, it is fearful that the only view remaining for the residents are just walls. This is the reason why UOA has justified the prices according to the views the unit is getting, which you will have to fork out 5% to 10% premium for KLCC view. Troika view unit is the least preferred since the building is too close to Binjai 8.
