Taman Nanyang enjoys excellent connectivity, an advantage that is shared by the many housing developments in this rather dense area. As such, traffic congestion is never-ending affair on a daily basis. Jalan Kepong is generally extremely affected by this issue during peak hours, with Jalan Ipoh being the most congested access road to the area while the DUKE highway offers the least congested access route.The neighbourhood in Taman Nanyang and its surrounding area consists mainly of the Chinese population. With the area being rather an old one, roads here are generally quite narrow. There have also been much resident complaints regarding the Taman Beringin landfill that is just a short distance from the housing developments. As with the many dirty and messy issues of current affairs, nothing has been done about the complaints as of yet.Many investors would nevertheless still consider the area around Taman Nanyang to be a good investment, as can be seen from the new developments in the area in form of Laman Residen and KiPark Sri Utara just across the lake from Taman Nanyang. Many buyers find the area an excellent place for a permanent home as they are close to all the neighbouring cities and towns, as well as major highways.
