Taman Sri Kuching is a residential cum commercial area just off Jalan Ipoh. It is adjacent to Taman Kok Lian, Sri Intan 1, Sri Intan 2, Kampung Sri Delima and Sri Gembira. There are apartments, shop lots and offices here making it a convenient location. Residents are spoiled for choice when it comes to amenities with lots of shops, restaurants, schools and supermarkets, in the vicinity. The houses at Taman Sri Kuching mainly consisted of double-storey units with either 4 or 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. However, some of the houses have undergone renovations and additions to accommodate growing families. Among the renovations and additions may be separation of dry and wet kitchen, kitchen cabinet, air conditioners, plaster ceilings, safety grills and automatic gate installation. Some owners may have also extended or renovated their car porch.Although Taman Sri Kuching is a residential neighbourhood, there is not much of residential properties offered. The roads here are narrow and the planning seems to be compact, by looking at a glance. Furthermore, there are no religious facilities of any religion, fields or playground available for the residents in the immediate vicinity. However, there is a mosque and government clinic further up the road. Location wise, Taman Sri Kuching is fairly well-connected to bring one to other parts of the Klang Valley. It is just 500 m to Duta - Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE)'s Jalan Kuching Interchange and there are other highways like the Duta - Segambut Highway, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and North - South Expressway (NSE) which makes traveling much more convenient these days. Imagine, one only needs about 15 minutes drive to reach KLCC and 10 minutes drive to Sri Hartamas and Mont Kiara. Alternatively, one can always opt for public transports or KTM Komuter nearby.

With much new commercial development going on along Jalan Ipoh, Taman Sri Kuching is indirectly benefiting from this. Apartments and shop lots here may have been around for some years but there are still market for them, most likely due to the changes in Jalan Kuching's skyline and its strategic location, as well as plenty of amenities around within a short drive from the neighbourhood.
