    Taman Rainbow is excellently located in the heart of the city with convenient and excellent access to all the major roads in the city. Unfortunately for the residents, Jalan Ipoh where their housing development is located, also happens to be a highly travelled trunk road as well. As such, traffic congestion is horrifying at best during peak hours.The residents of Taman Rainbow is tenanted mostly by those of the Chinese nationality, with the streets of Jalan Ipoh being lined by highly popular dim sum shops, bak kut teh shops and various other roadside stalls that offer excellent food at very cheap prices. Crime rate in the area is on the high side with snatch thefts and break-ins being quite common.Houses in Taman Rainbow are considered to be very good investments despite the heavy traffic congestions and comparatively high crime rates that residents experience, due to its freehold title and fantastic location. As such, many old time residents have put their houses on the market at high prices for those who are looking for large landed properties close to the city centre.
