Taman Mastiara is a residential cum commercial area just off Jalan Ipoh, on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur city centre. There seemed to be lots of new development and infrastructure being built in this area in recent years. The latest being a flyover connecting residents of Taman Mastiara to Jalan Kuching and with neighboring housing estates Alam Puri, Taman Batu Permai, Taman Tasik Indah, and a recreational park Taman Batu Metropolitan.Amenities are aplenty within and around the vicinity of Taman Mastiara. Retail shops, restaurants, schools, parks and even a community centre are easily available here. While shopping for daily necessities is made convenient with the many hypermarkets and supermarkets nearby, i.e. Jusco, Tesco Extra, Carrefour, The Store and 99 Mart. In terms of accessibility, residents of Taman Mastiara have easy access to Selayang, Kepong, Jalan Kuching, MRR2 and DUKE; while going into KL city centre takes only approximately 15 minutes drive. It is also quite near to a couple of KTM Commuter stations, i.e. Batu Village station and Taman Wahyu station.

Analysis
One downside of Taman Mastiara is that Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Kuching are notorious for their peak hour traffic jams. So, unless one travels during non-peak hours, do prepare to be stuck for bit. With all the new developments and infrastructures being built around, it is fast becoming an attractive address to own. Hopefully, this increase in demand will result in higher rental yield and property value in the future, for location wise, it is pretty strategic.
