Medan Damansara consists of mostly 2-storey terrace house with a few 3-storey houses too in the quieter part of Damansara Heights area. There are also some shoplots that house many western restaurants and other commercial activities. Houses here have been around for some years but most are well maintained. In fact, many had undergone renovation in recent years giving the neighborhood a very modern look. A quick search showed most houses up for sale were recently renovated and are move-in conditions. Price range varies quite a fair bit as it depends on how much renovation was done, and whether it is furnished or not. Also, corner units tend to cost more. Amenities are aplenty with nearby commercial hub offering banks, immigration office, offices, malls etc. Medan Damansara has easy access to Sprint Highway and to Bangsar, TTDI, Sri Hartamas and Mont Kiara. Two main factors attributing to this are location, and the fact that there is limited land for more development. In terms of location, Medan Damansara is pretty strategic and well connected. The numerous offices, shopping malls and institutes of higher learning nearby contribute much to the high demand of housing facilities, and this has resulted in a steady increase of the market price. Another plus point is that properties here are considerably bigger in size compared to the newer projects.
