    10 Semantan is developed and maintained by Meda Inc. The group is also responsible on a number of developments in Melaka, Tanjung Malim and Bukit Mertajam. It operates Summit Hotel in Subang USJ and another hotel in Bukit Mertajam. During its launch, buyers were offered the buy-to-lease option, which offered a guaranteed rental return of 8% per annum for 6 + 3 years, and other perks such as complimentary legal fees for sale and purchase and loan agreements.10 Semantan was launched in 2004 for around RM440 psf for a fully furnished serviced apartment; an unheard of price in the current days where prices in the vicinity bear RM1,000 psf prices. Rental prices have also risen drastically, where a studio unit of 520 sf commands a rental price tag of at least RM1,400.A misfortune very unfortunately happened on 4th December 2008 when a landslide occurred due to the many developments in the area which encompassed both bungalows and high rises. 10 Semantan very fortunately escaped the disaster, and although many have already forgotten the unfortunate event, it still lingers on in many minds.Traffic in the area is a major issue as 10 Semantan is located just beside the Sprint Highway, that connects Damansara to the Kuala Lumpur city centre. The road bears bumper to bumper cars during peak hours as people utilize the road to get to Jalan Duta to reach the city center as well as people commuting to and fro work in Damansara Heights.10 Semantan promises to be a very good investment despite its leasehold status, as the area is still growing at a fast pace with many new upcoming developments. Its location is also a big advantage for city dwellers looking for homes close to the city due to either work or studies.
