Taman Puteri Wangsa had recently experience an illegal rubbish dumping particularly at the site of the shop lots which is also a house to many illegal immigrants in the area. It is believed that the improper facilities for rubbish dumpster and the lack of education on cleanliness among the immigrants caused such scene to the developmental region. The result was that rats rooming around freely and stench smells causes many of the business in the shop lots to be closed down. It was recorded that the scene has been going on for years but there are no measures taken by the authority to fix the problems. Also, some people highlighted that the crime rates in the area are quite high. In return, it shut down the interest of future investors to invest in the community.
