It is very highly and centrally located at only 20 minutes away from the city centre of Johor Bahru, with the Malaysia - Singapore borders only 15 minutes away. Traffic is usually smooth flowing during the day, which gradually begins to congest towards evening as rush hour approaches. Traffic is usually bad on Jalan Tun Amizah and Jalan Gelang Patah throughout the city centre concentrating on the roads leading to the city centre.The neighbourhood of Taman Ungku Tun Aminah is understandably noisy and chaotic at times, as shops and houses are placed quite close together. They however coexist harmoniously, offering residents a convenient lifestyle. The neighbourhood is rather safe, although snatch thefts have been known to happen closer to the commercial areas on the outskirts of the development. Taman Ungku Tun Aminah would appear to be one of those older developments that would yield good profit in the long run, as the acquisition price is fairly reasonable and traffic flow in the area is very high. Buyers looking for a house for themselves would find this housing development very lively and exciting; although those who prefer the peace and quiet would do well to avoid this neighbourhood.
