Taman Senai Utama usually enjoy smooth flowing traffic, an advantage of being located on the outskirts. Traffic does, however, usually peak during after work hours. Roads directly outside the homes are usually clear; but start congesting from the turn off from Jalan Lapangan Terbang and continues along a short distance of the Senai Highway.The Taman Senai Utama neighbourhood cater mostly to those who work in the outskirts, the ground staff of the Senai Airport as well as frequent flyers. As such, buyers can usually expect office bound neighbours. The neighbourhood is generally quiet and peaceful, with only one old case of one of the houses being home to a member of a copper theft ring as well as a separate case of one of the houses being home to a suspected robber or two.Taman Senai Utama does not strike investors as a good investment in spite of its freehold title, as it is located a bit too far out from the city; that and the fact that the investment hotspot area in Johor is now focused in Iskandar and Nusajaya. It is however a decent place to call home, for those who work in the outskirts as well as in the Senai International Airport.
