Both companies within the joint venture have very solid backgrounds. ACG Construction was established in 1983 and rated G which is the highest in terms of financials by the Construction Industry Development Board of Singapore. Joland on the other hand, was incorporated in 1985 and has over 30 companies under its group, including the Grand Paragon Hotel.As Paragon Residences is designated to be a serviced residence, it would be managed by Grand Paragon Hotel under Joland Group. Joland Group would be leveraging on its vast experience with hotel management in order to further bring value to the development. However, the launching price might be a tad steep at over RM700 psf. With it being in such close proximity to Iskandar, there might be an oversupply of high-end residential developments in the locality.
