The road remains conspicuously clear even during peak hour rush traffic, where only a certain stretch of the road is congested. Motorists may expect to be caught in traffic for a short stretch on Jalan Sawah, which clears up rather quickly.The neighbourhood of Taman Kota Kulai is tenanted mainly by blue collared workers, who work on the outskirts. The housing development is relatively safe, although, there have been reports in the past of a car theft gang operating in the area that was busted. Other than that, there have been no recorded reports of house break-ins and the like.Despite its freehold title, Taman Kota Kulai does not hold much prospect for the property investor as it is located just too far out from the hub of business in the Johor Bahru city centre. As such, houses here are relatively affordable, and those who are looking for a home on the outskirts will be able to find a good bargain here.
