There were illegal racing activities along the main road from Taman Sri Taming to Taman Desa Baiduri several years back and there were also international syndicates actively distributing the synthetic drug syabu in Taman Desa Baiduri as well as other townships in the Klang Valley. Apart from that, the traffic congestion in Cheras is also an on-going matter and some chose not to stay at Cheras mainly because of the traffic issues.
