On an island where land is quickly becoming scarce, Solok Bukit Jambul seems to be a good deal. The prices of these homes may seem steep seeing as the homes are leasehold, however, for a house of this size with that comes with a garden, it is reasonable as compared to the new high rises on the island that are less than 1,300 sf but cost over a million ringgit.Traffic congestion will however be a constant and continuous pain to the residents of Solok Bukit Jambul, as peak hours always bring heavily congested roads, especially on Jalan Tun Dr. Awang. Due to the high density of residents living in the area, the turn off into this housing area is also always badly affected.However, residents will find peace and quiet once they are home. As this neighbourhood is dedicated to the upper market, residents will find that most of their neighbours are white collared workers. New buyers of these homes might however want to take precautionary measures against break-ins however, as these homes seem to be target for robbery despite CCTV camera surveillance on the homes.Solok Bukit Jambul may seem like a good investment, however most property speculators seem to prefer the high rises that overlook the sea.
